哈尔滨师范大学在黑龙江是第一批次招生,所以通常认为哈尔滨师范大学是一本大学。(2020年调入本科一批招生)如果考生不是黑龙江考生,哈尔滨师范大学在考生所在省份是本科二批招生的话,考生也可以说哈尔滨师范大学是二本大学。

1953年,哈尔滨师范专科学校和松江师范专科学校合并为松江师范专科学校;1953年,学校复名为哈尔滨师范专科学校;1956年,学校更名为黑龙江师范学院,同年又更名为哈尔滨师范学院;1982年,学校取得硕士学位授予权;1998年,学校获得博士学位授予权。

Harbin Normal University (HRBNU), founded in 1951, is located in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. It is a provincial key University with a focus on teacher education and a coordinated development of liberal arts, science, arts, economics, management and other disciplines. It is also a high-level University under the key construction of Heilongjiang Province. It was formerly known as Harbin Normal College and was renamed Harbin Normal University in 1980.

In 1953, Harbin Normal College and Songjiang Normal College were merged into Songjiang Normal College. In 1953, the school was renamed Harbin Normal College. In 1956, it was renamed Heilongjiang Normal College, and in the same year, it was renamed Harbin Normal College. In 1982, the university obtained the right to grant master’s degree; In 1998, the university was authorized to grant a doctor’s degree.
